Holly R. Corcoran, CPA
Holly Corcoran is a certified public accountant in business since 1991 and in partnership with Tim Hegarty CPA since 2013. Located in Stroudsburg, PA since 1996, she has built an extensive client base of businesses and individuals. With 30 years of business experience and advising businesses over that period makes her qualified to assist companies in moving to the next level in their enterprise.
While most of Holly’s clients are in a service-based environment, her niche is with veterinarians. Holly has counseled many practice owners to success over time and she speaks and understands the veterinary language. Holly owns and competes FEI endurance horses and working border collies. Holly’s daughter, Kelly Corcoran, is a veterinarian and practice owner. Therefore, Holly has interfaced with the veterinary profession as a counsellor, tax advisor and customer.
Holly is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Rotary International and board president for the USA Northeast Endurance, Inc. Holly also races her endurance horses across the USA and internationally, she is a member FEI, USEF, AERC, USA Northeast Endurance and serves on numerous equestrian committees.
Timothy J. Hegarty, CPA
Tim Hegarty became licensed by the State of Pennsylvania as a certified public Accountant in 1996. He graduated Cum Laude from St. Peters College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. His entire professional experience spans 20-plus years in accounting, auditing, taxation, financial analysis, financial reporting, and managerial consulting. He has worked in public accounting and has held various management positions within the financial services industry. Prior to opening his own practice in 2004, Tim served as Deputy Controller and Sarbanes-Oxley Project Manager for a major subsidiary of a $50 billion NYSE-listed commercial and consumer finance company. Previously served as Treasurer on the Eastern Monroe Public Library Board of Trustees and Board Member of the former Greater Pocono Chamber of Commerce. Authorized to practice before the IRS.
Leslie M. Pinto, CPA
Leslie Pinto is a 1990 graduate of Montclair State University. She became a licensed CPA in 2003 and earned her MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson in 2012. Prior to her arrival at Corcoran Hegarty & Associates in 2021, Leslie’s career spanned more than 20 years in the accounting profession, including audit for PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP; various leadership positions with Verizon such as General Ledger Accounting, Budgeting, Sarbanes-Oxley, and Finance Transformation; and managing statutory reporting for a regional P&C insurance company. In the past, Leslie has also applied her talents to a small, family-owned, public accounting firm, where she prepared business and personal tax returns for mostly dentists, retail, and real estate industries. Leslie is licensed in both PA and NJ, and is a member of the AICPA, PSTAP, and NJCPA.
Leslie has 2 children: a son, Quinn, who recently graduated from college and is pursuing a career in environmental studies; and a daughter, Garrison, who is preparing to study medicine. Leslie is married to Michael Grace, a man with 33 years of experience on Wall Street. Together, they have all raised chickens, and consider their dogs to be integral members of the family.
Leslie is a former athlete and avid supporter of many sports including football as well as Olympic gymnastics, track & field, and downhill skiing to name but a few. Her competitive edge, which defined her former career playing soccer in Europe, is not just relegated to the field of play.
Leslie’s passion has always been in the arena of public accounting, and she is ready to utilize her experience and breadth of knowledge to help her clients enhance their efficiencies in small to medium-sized businesses. Her goal is to help firms grow their businesses by providing her expertise and guidance to help further their understanding of the financial performance of their companies while helping to streamline their processes and facilitate growth.
